Reasons to visit the Black Sea Region of Turkey

Simple pleasures in Eastern Turkey

Last year, a client of mine visited Eastern Turkey and travelled up to the Black Sea region.  During our early conversations, he had stressed that he did not want the “typical tourist” experience;  that he wanted to participate in some fishing and didn’t mind too much about super-comfort in hotels, as long as they were clean and had a television!

By the way, the feature photograph was supplied by Gary Black.  Thanks Gary!

A private tour of Eastern Turkey

Through a carefully planned and executed itinerary, he had a unique experience travelling east from Cappadocia and then north to Trabzon over the course of two weeks.  It was a different type of holiday (he had a private driver and Guide) and, it seems, more and more people are starting to look even further off the Turkish beaten track. Here is an interesting article about the Black Sea region that aims to drive Australians to Turkey. If you are interested in visiting the lesser-known Turkey, call or email me.
