Easter is my favourite time of year

Since I was a child, I have always loved Easter. Easter parades, wonderful classical music … I love the Masses …, and of course a weekend with significant religious context. Oh, and I nearly forgot … gotta love those dark chocolate eggs!

When my kids were small their school in Britain used to have an Easter Bonnet parade … what fun we had making a different hat each year. And then the egg-race, where the children each had to walk an obstacle course carrying a hard boiled egg on a dessert spoon. If they dropped, they were out.

Year after year, Easter brings with it lots of time for family, friends, great music and …. chocolate! And all of this against a beautiful, colourful garden backdrop of tulips, daffodils, cherry blossom, etc. etc.
