Blue Cruise Gulet Special for September 2010

Sail the Aegean this September!

Sail the Aegean this September!

Everyone who takes a “blue cruise” in Turkey loves the experience of cruising the turquoise waters of the Aegean or Mediterranean on a traditional wooden sailboat (gulet.)  The scenery is beautiful, the options for swimming, snorkeling, etc. unlimited and the cuisine is always fresh and delicious.  Imagine, then, when I learned from one of my Turkish partners of an awesome opportunity for one lucky couple this coming September …

A fun loving Kiwi couple in their mid 50s is looking for a couple or 2 singles to join them on a one-week Blue Cruise.

The planned itinerary will run Bodrum-Gökova-Bodrum from 4 September to 11 September 2010.

Day 1: Embark in Bodrum harbor around 4 pm with welcome meeting and introduction to the crew. Cruise to a nearby bay for swimming, snorkeling and overnight.

Day 2: Early departure to Knidos, an ancient Carian town and once capital to explore the remains, including an impressive amphitheatre and statues.

Day 3: Sail to Mersincik Port after breakfast.  Enjoy lunch at the picturesque port.  Cruise to Cati, a landlocked small bay.  Evening in Cati.

Day 4:  Cruise to Cleopatra Island. Cruise to Karacasogut, a small cozy bay for the evening.

Day 5:  Cruise to English Harbour, where many English vessels and submarines hid during WWII.  Cruise through Ballisu and Longoz bays.

Day 6:  Visit Cokertme and Kissebükü (Church) bays.

Day 7:  Cruise to Orak Island and its crystal waters.

Day 8: Disembarkation in Bodrum.

Special pricing for this trip: 225 Euro per person per day including full board!  With 2 more persons this is a guaranteed departure.

Please contact me for more information.  But don’t think about it too long, because this very special offer will be gone very quickly.
